Fashion Color Hair Care Tips

Fashion color.... so fun, so vibrant, such a fun way to show your personality.
But they do require a little more care then other colors ......

• Try to wait a *minimum* of 2 days to wash after you have had a fashion color applied... even better if it's 3 days

• Turn the water temp down. Cooler temps keep the cuticle of the hair closed where warmer temps causes the cuticle to open which leads to faster fade of color.

• Limit your washing to 3 times per week to ensure the longest lasting fashion color

• Always condition after you shampoo. And don't forget to add a layer of heat protectant for each type of heat styling you do (Example: one layer for blow drying and another layer for hot tools)

• Prolonged exposure to chlorinated or well water can cause the color to fade rapidly

• While your hair is wet, it may stain fabrics. Use a dark pillowcase and/or towel as a precaution.
